Gary & Gary Jr. have always had a passion for racing. They have been involved with go-carts and mini cup racing, auto crossing and now road racing. It has become quite a family event as Diane, Team Manager, helps with timing and scoring, preparing the car with the boys, preparing all the food for the weekend and of course supporting her racers.

Gary and Gary Jr. completed an extensive driving school for road racing to qualify for their road-racing license. Since racing in 2006 they have both earned their National Licenses.

Gary competed in 2006 and placed 3^rd in the SARRC "ITC" championship with Gary Jr., placing 2^nd in the championship in 2007, both competing with over 30 drivers in the class. Gary Jr., was awarded "Driver of the Year" for 2007 by the SCCA South Carolina Region. Together sharing driving time they also ran the Southeast Division & Enduro Championship Racing Series and took a 2^nd place in the series for 2007.

The boys compete in their ’91 Honda Civic hatchback in the Improved Touring "C" and run in the SARRC (South Atlanta Road Racing Championship). Their racing season encompasses competitors and tracks in the southeast, Virginia and Florida and as far west as Tennessee. They have raced at such tracks as, Daytona; Lowes Motor Speedway, Charlotte, NC; North Carolina Speedway, Rockingham; Road Atlanta, Georgia; International Raceway, Virginia; Carolina Motorsports Park, Kershaw, South Carolina and Roebling Road, Savannah, Georgia.
